The Christian life is meant to be lived together. We are called to live in harmony with one another (Rom. 12:16), outdo one another in showing honor (Rom. 12:10), serve one another (Gal. 5:13), bear one another’s burdens (Gal. 6:2), be kind and forgiving one another (Eph. 4:32), encourage one another (1 Thess. 4:18), and love one another (1 John 4:7).

Joining the Church is your way of saying, “This is where I will keep the ‘one another’ commands,” and it places you under the pastoral care of our staff and elders.

Step One: Place your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and be baptized.

Step Two: Complete a response card in our service or fill out the online form below. This allows one of our pastors to visit with you, get to know you, hear your story, and answer any questions about our church.

Step Three: Attend Lunch with Pastor Aaron and Hays Hills’ Core Beliefs. Lunch with Pastor Aaron is served in the Fellowship Hall once a month (see our events page) where you have an opportunity to meet church staff and discuss the mission, goals, and ministries of the church. Hays Hills’ Core Beliefs is taught at 6:45pm on one Wednesday of each month where Pastor Aaron covers the core beliefs of the church and church covenant, and answers any questions about doctrine and philosophy of ministry.

Step Four: Affirm and sign the church covenant. We ask prospective members to sign the church covenant as their pledge to live in gospel community with the other believers at Hays Hills.
